So I finally did it!
One more check on my list of
things to do before I die...
I've been stung.
Not by a bumbling arthropod,
but the Tantric God of Music.
Ahhh... What a night!
Sure, it wasn't all I had hoped for.
We weren’t guests to a garden
concert in his private Tuscan villa;
and there wasn't an orchestra
or Middle Eastern accompaniment on Desert Rose.
This was the Singapore Indoor Stadium at its well-behaved best,
no less. All 12,000 of them.
But who cares, coz it still counts as a check on my list.
And he was great!
Could've done with a haircut, perhaps,
but still, inspiring and brilliant.
So I guess this year is turning out to be great so far.
I'm almost done with my movie - soundtrack and all.
Thanks to wonderful friends who came to my rescue
when there was little hope left.
And off that's going to the S'pore Film Fest!
(Fingers crossed)
And off I'll be to Aceh on Friday to build a centre
for the coordination of relief efforts.
Guess that makes it 3 checks on my to-do list.
Not bad considering it's only 12 days into the new year, eh?
